Welcome to the Patternmaking Experience, Garment Designer 2.5. You are about to enter the world of Garment Design through Computerized Patternmaking, the next greatest software since the Gerber System created by Susan Laezar of Cochenille Design Studio! Garment Designer allows you to create garments which reflect your personal style, yet with ease through "click and drag" pattern editing. You can use Standard Sizing or Personal Measurements to build your patterns that suit & shape your fit. You can choose from numerous built in pattern shapes and/or further customize your design creating fashionable Sewing or Knitting Garments. Garment Designer allows you to develop your own Knitting Patterns w/ easy to follow Knitting Instructions for the world of Knitters! Soul Collection's is now offering the Garment Designer Computerized Patternmaking on the East Coast, which comes w/ an illustrated Manual on how to use the software. Soul Collection's also offers 2-Day Workshops for users who may need some extra help walking thru the system. As an experienced Patternmaker, I have found Garment Designer easy enough for a Beginner to use, yet convenient for the experienced cutting time w/Flat Patternmaking. Although I recommend Flat Patternmaking as a starting point to understand the relationship of the Body, Measurements & Patterns, it is not a requirement. Garment Designer alllows you to make Patterns for Men, Women, Petite, Juniors, Plus Size, Children & Dolls!! When placing your order, please advise if you have Windows or Macintosh.

Garment Designer also allows you to view your Pattern Layout displaying the Dimensions of your project for Fabric or Yarn Purchases. You can build your Patterns by developing your own Slopers or choosing from easy to use Pattern Designs within the Software. You will also be able to view your Body Sloper in comparison w/the Design Ease of the Pattern.
