Women’s Basic Flat Patternmaking Design

Do you have designs in your head or in a sketchbook that you want to bring to life? Or do you have a particular style you can’t find in the stores and want to create? Now, students have the option to either In Shop OR Online Course Patternmaking Classes to get you started in making your own clothing and/or designs through flat patternmaking.

Students will learn in either of the classes, how to draft 8 Half Scale Slopers that form the Basic Dress, which is the foundation for all other designs.  The half scale patterns are very useful in determining if your future designs will actually work along with having a concise portfolio of how to's you created and can refer back to.  Then test what you have learned drafting half scale slopers by developing each lesson into full size Slopers.

In Shop Classes - 4 Classes/2hrs each Class - $350 Incl Supplies: $300 Excl Supplies. Homework Required.

 Online Classes - $125 Patternmaking Design Kit Incl for Half Scale Drafting. These classes are Pre-recorded. If you can make a commitment of just 2 hours a day, which can be split up in any increments of time, you will have your completed Slopers in 4 Online Classes.
