Kids/Teens Sewing Classes

Give your young person a creative way to learn a new skill! Our Sunday sewing classes introduce kids and teens ages 6–16 to sewing through hands-on practice and fun projects.

Class details

• Ages: 6–16
• Schedule: Sundays, 10:30 AM–12:30 PM, two hours per class
• Full course: $145 for four classes
• Prorated option: $108 for the remaining three classes if your child misses the first class

Please check the current class schedule before registering. Classes can fill quickly, so we recommend registering one to two weeks in advance.

What students will learn

Students learn sewing machine safety, machine parts, threading, and how to guide fabric while coordinating their hands, eyes, and feet. Practice sheets help them build their skills before moving on to sewing projects.

Students begin with a pincushion and a sewing bag to keep their projects and supplies together, then explore a variety of projects as they learn. There is always something new to discover!

Before your first class

• Please email your child or teen’s name and age to sgsouls@gmail.com.
• A parent or guardian must sign a waiver release form at the shop.
• Pack a snack and a bottle of water if your child would like a snack break.
• Set a reminder for class and arrange for on-time pickup.

Important class policies

Please be sure to pick your child up on time as it will result in a $15 late pick up charge every 15 minutes.

There are absolutely no refunds unless the entire Class is you selected is cancelled.
