Advanced Sewing Classes

The Art of Advanced Sewing Classes gives students an opportunity to focus or continue to pursue their niche or avenue of interest in sewing clothing in Tailored Sewing Classes. 

Prerequisites; Beginners & Intermediate Sewing 

Prior knowledge of pattern shapes like sleeves, bodices, skirt, waistband, and facing is necessary for Advanced Sewing Classes. Students must be proficient in laying out fabric and pattern according to the grain line with minimal assistance, as well as understanding pattern symbols and transferring markings onto the fabric (such as notches, buttons and buttonholes, and circles). At least 2 Intermediate Level Sewing Classes are recommended as it is covered extensively.

Courses start at $275 and up. 

Volunteer’s hours are excluded from this workshop
