Need extra time to finish a sewing project, practice your skills, or simply need access to a sewing machine? Open Sewing Lab gives experienced sewists dedicated studio time to work independently in the Soul Collection’s Sewing Lounge.

✨ How It Works
Select the date and 1-hour time slot you’d like to attend.

Need more than one hour? Simply add each consecutive time slot to your cart before checkout.

Example: For 11 AM–1 PM, reserve both 11 AM–12 PM and 12–1 PM.

👥 Only 2 sewists are permitted per time slot, so advance reservations are highly recommended. Your paid registration confirms your Sewing Lab time—no additional confirmation is needed.

Depending on availability, Open Sewing Lab includes access to:

• Brother CS6000i computerized sewing machines
• Singer Heavy Duty mechanical sewing machines
• Industrial sewing machine (Out of service)
• Brother overlock/serger machine

🧵 Please bring your own thread and all materials needed for your project.

⚠️ Please Read Before Reserving

Open Sewing Lab is for adults who already know how to independently operate and thread a sewing machine.

This is independent studio rental time and is NOT a sewing class. Instructor assistance is very limited and may not be available during your reservation.

If you need help learning how to thread or operate a machine, understand your pattern, construct your project, or need ongoing sewing assistance, please register for one of the Beginner or Intermediate Sewing Classes instead.
