Sewing Techniques

Give your skills a serious upgrade in this hands-on, technique-focused workshop!

Course Fee 1 1/2hr/$50.  Perfect for beginners ready to level up or intermediate sewists who want cleaner, more professional finishes.

In these 1 1/2hr workshops, students will learn and practice some commonly used sewing machine-based techniques used in garment construction and everyday sewing. 
Prerequisite: Must have sewn before on the sewing machine. 

Each Workshop will focus particular Techniques adding to your Construction Library, (you will not learn all that is listed in one workshop) 

Step-by-step, you’ll explore:

 ✨Straight Stitch Mastery — how to sew steady, accurate ✨Hems — Double Fold Hem, Blind Hem, Curved Hem, Twin Needle Knit Hem  ✨Zippers — Invisible Zipper, Lapped Zipper, Fly Front Zipper, Centered Zipper ✨Closures  — Buttonholes, Hook & Eyes, Snaps          ✨Seam Finishes - French Seam, Flat Felled Seam, Bias Bound Seam, Pinking Finish  

Students will practice each technique on sample fabrics to keep for their construction library; materials/notions included.
